Impact researchers win a grant - Research on Islam in Sweden

Impact researchers Mosa Sayed (Uppsala University) and Pia Karlsson Minganti (Stockholm University) won a research grand from the Ragnar Söderberg Foundation. They will study the role of Muslim communities in the dissolution of mariage in Sweden.

This project hosted at the faculty of Law will combine legal studies and cultural studies in an analysis of the practice of religious divorce in a Swedish context. The Project thus develops both the multidisciplinary collaboration  and thematic area of research developed within theme 3 in the Impact programme.
